Senior Ambassador

I can't believe I am a senior. Two and half years ago when i applied and went through the interview process i never thought time would fly by so fast. I will miss all the ambassadors and i wish them luck in their future endeavors. I will remember everything i learned and i will always be a husky.

PR Cases and Problems Real Life Client

This semester my class held a client involved in the Special Olympics. The client was the Bloomsburg Bocce Bash. For a little background the Bocce Bash event is held every fall semester and it’s involved with the Special Olympics. Teams from all over the east coast come to Bloomsburg University to play bocce ball. Each team consists of players with mental disabilities and they all play during this day event filled with activities for them and their families. We called ourselves the Bocce Ballers our slogan was “Let’s Ball Out for Special Olympics.” We created a new logo and printed that on every flyer and social media outlet. My class chose this client due to their need of publicity and money for more bocce courts in order to expand the tournament to accommodate more teams. We rose in total over $1500.00 through an on campus bocce tournament, Indiegogo, canning, bake sales, and advertising through social media outlets.

Internship Articles Posted

I just posted a few examples of writing samples I did for the Chamber of Commerce this past spring 2013 semester. They are located under the pages section of my blog. All articles were published in the Columbia Montour Chamber of Commerce weekly newsletter that is sent out to every member on each Thursday. They are rather simple examples of my writing skills although they have been published even with their simplicity.
